Vineyard & Tasting Fair in Vilanova.
The building “Neapolis” will host a new exhibition of gastronomy and wine, Called “Vineyard & Tasting” addressed to professional visitors with an open day for the general public. The fair will give support to the quality and representativity of the products of the Catalan region: wines, cheeses, oils, honey, sausages, chocolate, ready ... looking to promote local products.
The exhibit area will be an interesting representation of wineries, producer of oils, chocolate ... throughout Catalonia. In the auditorium will take place the Eno-gastronomic Journey, with presentations by specialists around themes of innovation in productivity, distribution and communication.
In the space “Lands and aromas”, will take place the tastings, marriage and tastings of products from different exhibitors and participatory associations: DO Penedès proposes two tastings held by the winemaker Pere Escudé where you can taste the most iconic wines with Appellation Penedès, including Qualidès Association, the Cooperative Oil Montsià the Fishermen Vilanova, plus various wineries and independent producers. They make up the Parallel Activities Fair, during the three days of exposure, with a preset schedule of activities. Renowned chefs and wine experts will guide the tastings. On Sunday, these activities open to the public.
The fair is also organizing Vineyard & Tasting Nights, with themed dinners in places representative of the seafood, cooking creator and tapas bars in the city. The inaugural dinner, with the collaboration of the DO Penedes and Cadena Ser, will offer a wine tasting on “The Fassina”, a popular restaurant in the town, also within the cycle of literary dinners and with the presence of the chef-writer Pius Alibek, who was named “xatonaire” in honor of Vilanova the past xató festival. ... The night ended with the bartenders tasting lounge bar Viart, collaborator of the fair.
